Hello! I'm Iva, a children's book illustrator and author based in Reno, Nevada.
I'm on this wonderful journey writing and illustrating for children. It's a dream come true after decades of doing graphic design and "more serious" writing. I'm very grateful to have three children's books published, The Little Candle, Wasteful Emma (illustration), and When I Grow Up: All that I Can Be from A to Z.
I use Procreate to illustrate, Adobe Photoshop to enhance, and Adobe InDesign to layout and package everything into the cutest children's book possible.

Wasteful Emma, 2023
A story of eight-grader Emma who always forgets to turn the family TV off, close the fridge door, and shut the lights off when she's done using them. One day, the appliances decide to teach her a lesson. Will Emma stop being so wasteful?
Illustration for Wasteful Emma, a children’s storybook on electricity conservation, written by Karen Ann Foster-Pacpaco. The book was published in January 2023 by the Environmental Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (Philippines), and was distributed for free to communities and schools as part of their environmental education campaign in the country.
